إيفون‭ ‬بوخهايم

إيفون‭ ‬بوخهايم‭ ‬فنانة‭ ‬تعمل‭ ‬في‭ ‬عدد‭ ‬من‭ ‬الوسائط‭ ‬لإنتاج‭ ‬أعمال‭ ‬لها‭ ‬علاقة‭ ‬بالسياقات‭ ‬العامة‭ ‬والاجتماعيّة‭. ‬تعنى‭ ‬إيفون‭ ‬باستكشاف‭ ‬الفن‭ ‬القابع‭ ‬في‭ ‬اليوميّات‭ ‬وإشراك‭ ‬الجمهور‭ ‬بطرق‭ ‬غير‭ ‬متوقّعة،‭ ‬من‭ ‬المشاركة‭ ‬المتعمّدة‭ ‬إلى‭ ‬الملاحظات‭ ‬العرضيّة‭. ‬درّست‭ ‬إيفون‭ ‬في‭ ‬جامعة‭ ‬West of England‭ ‬لعشرة‭ ‬أعوام‭ ‬قبل‭ ‬انتقالها‭ ‬إلى‭ ‬القاهرة‭ ‬العام‭ ‬2012‭ ‬حيث‭ ‬تدرّس‭ ‬الفنون‭ ‬والثقافة‭ ‬في‭ ‬مؤسّسة‭ ‬القاهرة‭ ‬للفنون‭ ‬والعلوم‭.‬

Yvonne Buccheim

Yvonne Buchheim is an interdisciplinary artist working in public and social contexts. She is interested in exploring art within the everyday and engaging audiences in unexpected ways, from intentional participation to incidental observation. Yvonne taught at the University of the West of England for ten years before moving to Cairo in 2012, where she is currently teaching Arts and Culture at the Cairo Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

ياسر‭ ‬العمد‭ ‬كاتب‭ ‬ومحرّر‭ ‬مستقل‭ ‬يقيم‭ ‬في‭ ‬ناعور‭. ‬قام‭ ‬ياسر‭ ‬بتدريس‭ ‬مساقات‭ ‬في‭ ‬البلاغة‭ ‬والتأليف‭ ‬والأدب‭ ‬في‭ ‬جامعة‭ ‬تكساس‭ ‬بأوستن‭ ‬وجامعة‭ ‬ستانفورد،‭ ‬وهو‭ ‬حاليّاً‭ ‬منسّق‭ ‬التحرير‭ ‬في‭ ‬اجلسات‭ ‬الربيعب،‭ ‬حيث‭ ‬أدار‭ ‬ورشة‭ ‬الكتابة‭ ‬في‭ ‬نسخة‭ ‬العام‭ ‬الماضي‭. ‬شغر‭ ‬ياسر‭ ‬منصب‭ ‬مدير‭ ‬التحرير‭ ‬في‭ ‬Bat City Review،‭ ‬وهي‭ ‬مجلة‭ ‬أدبيّة‭ ‬تصدر‭ ‬في‭ ‬أوستن‭ ‬بتكساس،‭ ‬ويعمل‭ ‬حاليّاً‭ ‬على‭ ‬تأسيس‭ ‬اباحثونب‭: ‬دار‭ ‬نشر‭ ‬مستقلّة‭ ‬في‭ ‬عمّان‭.‬

 Yaser Al Amad 

Yaser Al Amad is an independent writer and editor based in Naour. He has taught rhetoric, composition and literature courses at The University of Texas at Austin and Stanford University and is currently Editorial Coordinator at Spring Sessions, where he led the writing workshop over the course of the 2015 program. He was previously Managing Editor at Bat City Review, a literary journal based in Austin, Texas, and is in the process of establishing Bahithoun Press, an independent publishing house in Amman.

فؤاد‭ ‬الخوري

فؤاد‭ ‬الخوري‭ ‬مصوّر‭ ‬مرموق‭ ‬يقيم‭ ‬بين‭ ‬باريس‭ ‬وبيروت‭. ‬درس‭ ‬العمارة‭ ‬قبل‭ ‬أن‭ ‬ينخرط‭ ‬في‭ ‬مهنة‭ ‬التصوير‭ ‬لتوثيق‭ ‬لبنان‭ ‬الممزّق‭ ‬من‭ ‬الحرب،‭ ‬ليشارك‭ ‬في‭ ‬النهاية‭ ‬جهداً‭ ‬جماعيّاً‭ ‬نتج‭ ‬عنه‭ ‬نشر‭ ‬كتاب‭ ‬Beirut City Centre 1993‭ ‬والذي‭ ‬اعتبر‭ ‬معلماً‭ ‬أساسيّاً‭ ‬في‭ ‬تاريخ‭ ‬التصوير‭ ‬الفوتوغرافي‭. ‬إضافة‭ ‬إلى‭ ‬نشر‭ ‬مطبوعات‭ ‬عدّة،‭ ‬منها‭: ‬Beyrouth Aller-Retour 1984،‭ ‬Palestine‭, ‬l‮]‬envers du miroirت1996،‭ ‬Suite Egyptienneت‭ ‬1997،‭ ‬Liban Provisoireت‭ ‬1998،‭ ‬Sombres 2003،‭ ‬La Sagesse du Photographe 2004،‭ ‬و‭ ‬Beةlonging 2011‭. ‬تحوّل‭ ‬الخوري‭ ‬لإنتاج‭ ‬أعمال‭ ‬الفيديو‭ ‬العام‭ ‬2002‭ ‬مع‭ ‬عمل‭ ‬Lettres à Francine‭ ‬الذي‭ ‬يعتمد‭ ‬أساساً‭ ‬على‭ ‬صوره‭ ‬الفوتوغرافيّة‭ ‬لتركيا،‭ ‬ليستمر‭ ‬في‭ ‬هذا‭ ‬المجال‭ ‬مع‭ ‬عمل‭ ‬الفيديو‭ ‬Moving Out 2003،‭ ‬وWelcome to Beirut 2005‭. ‬ومؤخّراً‭ ‬عمل‭ ‬بالشراكة‭ ‬مع‭ ‬فنانين‭ ‬مختلفين‭ ‬لإنتاج‭ ‬أعمال‭ ‬مثل‭ ‬الفيلم‭ ‬الوثائقي‭ ‬Re:Visiting Tarab‭ ‬مع‭ ‬طارق‭ ‬عطوة،‭ ‬وسلسلة‭ ‬صور‭ ‬فوتوغرافيّة‭ ‬مرافقة‭ ‬لقصيدة‭ ‬إيتل‭ ‬عدنان‭: ‬To be in a Time of War‭ ‬ حصل‭ ‬الخوري‭ ‬على‭ ‬عدّة‭ ‬جوائز،‭ ‬وتعرض‭ ‬أعماله‭ ‬في‭ ‬معارض‭ ‬ومجموعات‭ ‬فنيّة‭ ‬حول‭ ‬العالم‭. ‬إضافة‭ ‬إلى‭ ‬أنّه‭ ‬شارك‭ ‬بتأسيس‭ ‬المؤسّسة‭ ‬العربيّة‭ ‬للصورةب‭ ‬التي‭ ‬تسعى‭ ‬لأرشفة‭ ‬والحفاظ‭ ‬على‭ ‬التصوير‭ ‬الفوتوغرافي‭ ‬في‭ ‬المنطقة‭. ‬وكجزء‭ ‬من‭ ‬اهتمامه‭ ‬الدّائم‭ ‬بتصوير‭ ‬المدن،‭ ‬داوم‭ ‬على‭ ‬زيارة‭ ‬عمّان‭ ‬في‭ ‬العشرين‭ ‬سنة‭ ‬الأخيرة‭.‬

Fouad Elkoury

Fouad Elkoury is a photographer living between Paris and Beirut. He studied architecture before beginning his career as a photographer documenting war-torn Lebanon, eventually participating in the collective effort that culminated with the publication of Beirut City Centre in 1993, widely hailed as a landmark in the history of photography. His other publications include Beyrouth Aller-Retour (1984); Palestine, l’envers du miroir (1996); Suite Egyptienne (1997); Liban Provisoire (1998); Sombres (2003); La Sagesse du Photographe (2004); and Be…longing (2011). Fouad moved into producing video work in 2002 beginning with Lettres à Francine, based on his photographs of Turkey, and continuing with Moving Out in 2003 and Welcome to Beirut in 2005. More recently he has worked on collaborations with various artists, including the documentary Re:Visiting Tarab with Tarek Atoui and a photographic series accompanying Etel Adnan’s poem To be in a time of war. He is the recipient of numerous awards and continues to be featured in shows and collections throughout the world. Fouad is the Co-Founder the Arab Image Foundation, an organization that seeks to archive and preserve photography from across the region. As part of his sustained interest in photographing cities, he has been revisiting Amman for over twenty years.

هونغ‭-‬كاي‭ ‬وانغ

هونغ‭-‬كاي‭ ‬وانغ‭ ‬فنّانة‭ ‬وباحثة‭ ‬تقيم‭ ‬بين‭ ‬فيينا‭ ‬وتايبيه‭ ‬ولدت‭ ‬في‭ ‬تايوان‭. ‬تعمل‭ ‬حاليّاً‭ ‬على‭ ‬إتمام‭ ‬أطروحة‭ ‬الدكتوراه‭ ‬في‭ ‬Academy of Fine Arts Vienna،‭ ‬وهي‭ ‬عضو‭ ‬في‭ ‬History from Below Network‭. ‬تستمد‭ ‬وانغ‭ ‬الدافع‭ ‬لممارساتها‭ ‬الإبداعيّة‭ ‬متعدّدة‭ ‬الأغراض‭ ‬من‭ ‬الانشغال‭ ‬بالاستماع‭ ‬والصوت‭ ‬كما‭ ‬منهجيّات‭ ‬البحث‭ ‬ووسائل‭ ‬التعاون‭ ‬والأدوات‭ ‬التعليميّة،‭ ‬لتترواح‭ ‬أعمالها‭ ‬بين‭ ‬أعمال‭ ‬الصوت‭ ‬وتجهيزات‭ ‬الفيديو‭ ‬والأداء‭ ‬وورشات‭ ‬العمل‭ ‬والمطبوعات،‭ ‬يجمعها‭ ‬هذا‭ ‬الاهتمام‭ ‬الدائم‭ ‬بتنظيم‭ ‬السلوك‭ ‬الاجتماعي،‭ ‬وتعطيل‭ ‬السرديات‭ ‬الجغرافيّة‭/ ‬السياسيّة‭ ‬المقبولة،‭ ‬وتعقيد‭ ‬مفاهيم‭ ‬المعرفة‭.‬

Hong-Kai Wang

Born in Taiwan, Hong-Kai Wang is an artist and researcher based in Vienna and Taipei. She is a PhD candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and a member of the History from Below Network. Her interdisciplinary practice is driven by a preoccupation with listening and sound as research methodologies, modes of collaboration and pedagogical tools. Spanning sound work, video installation, performance, workshop and publication, her works are consistently concerned with organizing sociality, disrupting accepted geopolitical chronologies, and complicating conceptions of knowledge.

Wang has presented her work internationally at Kunsthalle Wien, Parasophia: Kyoto International Festival of Contemporary Culture, Kunsthall Trondheim, Para Site, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Iaspis, the 54th Venice Biennale, and Casino Luxembourg, among others.

باباك‭ ‬هاشمي‭-‬نزاد‭ ‬مصمّم‭ ‬يقيم‭ ‬في‭ ‬لندن‭. ‬ينتج‭ ‬الاستوديو‭ ‬الخاص‭ ‬به‭ ‬أعمالاً‭ ‬تتراوح‭ ‬ما‭ ‬بين‭ ‬المجالات‭ ‬الخاصّة‭ ‬والعامّة،‭ ‬الطعام،‭ ‬الألعاب،‭ ‬صناعة‭ ‬الصورة،‭ ‬العمارة‭ ‬والمنتجات‭. ‬ومدفوعاً‭ ‬بالرغبة‭ ‬في‭ ‬استكشاف‭ ‬أدوار‭ ‬المصمّم‭ ‬المتغيّرة‭ ‬في‭ ‬ظل‭ ‬أنظمة‭ ‬اجتماعيّة‭ ‬معقّدة،‭ ‬يهتم‭ ‬بهباك‭ ‬بتطوير‭ ‬نماذج‭ ‬لشراكات‭ ‬ومنهجيّات‭ ‬تشرك‭ ‬الجمهور‭ ‬العام‭ ‬في‭ ‬عمليّة‭ ‬التصميم‭ ‬بفاعليّة‭. ‬كثيراً‭ ‬ما‭ ‬عرض‭ ‬باباك‭ ‬أعماله‭ ‬وأشرف‭ ‬على‭ ‬ورشات‭ ‬عمل‭ ‬منها‭ ‬Edgware Road Project‭ ‬في‭ ‬Serpentine Gallery‭ ‬وThe Showroom‭. ‬وحصل‭ ‬على‭ ‬عدّة‭ ‬جوائز‭ ‬عالميّة‭ ‬للتصميم،‭ ‬وحصل‭ ‬على‭ ‬منحة‭ ‬بحث‭ ‬من‭ (‬AHRC‭)‬،‭ ‬وزمالة‭ (‬Near Now‭)‬،‭ ‬وهو‭ ‬جزء‭ ‬من‭ ‬Theatrum Mundi/Global Street،‭ ‬وهو‭ ‬مشروع‭ ‬بحثي‭ ‬متعدّد‭ ‬الأغراض‭ ‬تأسس‭ ‬في‭ ‬كليّة‭ ‬لندن‭ ‬للاقتصاد،‭ ‬والتي‭ ‬تجمع‭ ‬المعماريين‭ ‬والمصمّمين‭ ‬والفنانين‭ ‬معاً‭ ‬بغرض‭ ‬إعادة‭ ‬تخيّل‭ ‬المساحات‭ ‬العامّة‭. ‬تخرّج‭ ‬باباك‭ ‬من‭ ‬Royal College of Art‭ ‬في‭ ‬العام‭ ‬2008،‭ ‬ويقوم‭ ‬بالتدريس‭ ‬بشكل‭ ‬منتظم‭ ‬في‭ ‬جامعة‭ ‬Kingston‭ ‬و‭ ‬Central Saint Martins‭ ‬ في‭ ‬لندن‭.‬

Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad

Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad is a designer based in London. His studio produces work spanning the domestic and public realm, food, games, image-making, architecture and products. Exploring the shifting roles of the designer within complex social systems, he is interested in developing new collaborative models and methodologies that actively engage publics within design processes. He has exhibited and conducted workshops extensively, including with the Serpentine Gallery’s Edgware Road Project and The Showroom. He is the recipient of a number of international design awards, research grants (AHRC), fellowships (Near Now), and is part of Theatrum Mundi/Global Street, an interdisciplinary research project from the London School of Economics that brings architects, designers and artists together to reimagine public space. Hashemi-Nezhad graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2008 and regularly teaches at Kingston University and Central Saint Martins in London.
